Here Comes Santa Claus!!

We all had so much fun seeing Santa and riding the train at the mall. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Thorne! We can't wait for Christmas to come. We put up our tree a while ago along with our Christmas train and we have already gone through 2 sets of batteries! I love Christmas time and the reason for the season. I Am So Blessed!!!

As many of you might know I injured my back about 1 1/2 wks ago. I wish I could say that I was doing something awesome like triathlon training, snowboarding, etc... but unfortunately I was just picking up some toys around the house and my back spasmed! That is right I couldn't stand up straight I had to just fall to the ground and call Bren. It was so painful. My cute little boy asked me "you otay mom?" all night and was so cute. Well needless to say I was bed ridden for about 3-4days only able to get up and walk to the bathroom. With a 2yr old that presented a huge problem as you might guess! He is an active little boy and I definately needed help. That is why I am writing this in my blog. I feel so grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and service that was shown to me during this time. From my Family, friends, and to my ward family I have had so many people calling and offering to help in so many ways I was amazed. I am so grateful for each and every one of you for showing me your love and giving me support in being there for anything I needed. Thank you. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by so many people who truly do care for me and my family. With Thanksgiving approaching I feel it appropriate to share my Thanks to all of you and to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving.

The Hunt Begins!

I can't believe it is the Deer Hunt again already! Time Flies!! Well my boys are both into the hunt as you can tell. Our litte guy can't wait to go with his Dad hunting and Bren Can't wait to have another hunting buddy with him. He was so cute getting all of his Dad's hunting gear on. Well-Good Luck Boys, bring home a Monster Buck!!!!

I Love General Conference! I love being a memeber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This gospel is so real and so true. It is such a blessing especially today when the world offers little peace and a lot of worries.This wonderful gospel offers peace, love, and happiness. After listening to the Conference talks and feeling the spirit I am motivated to be a better wife, mother, and Individual. I truly love this Church.

Happy 6 Year Anniversary!!!!

That is right Bren and I have been married 6 Years!!! I can't believe how fast time goes. Bren Planned the whole weekend and it was so much fun. He is quite the romantic despite what he thinks!! Bren and I share a love for the outdoors especially the mountains, so he surprised me and took me on a beautiful hike. It was gorgeous seeing the leaves changing colors, breathing the fresh mountain air, and the quiet serenity that is felt in the outdoors. It was amazing. Then we went to dinner, went to the batman movie and headed home. On the way home Bren said one day he will take me to Hawaii, but for now he wanted to give me a taste of Hawaii at home. He had decorated our home in Hawaiian theme deco (thanks to a secret helper he had this done while we were watching the movie--total surprise!!). He also had rose petals and chocolate decorating our stairs and bedroom. What a great hubby! He really did an amazing job, I am so lucky to have him as my best friend and companion. Happy 6 year Anniversary babe!!!

LAKE POWELL! LAKE POWELL! LAKE POWELL!

What can I say, Lake Powell is so BEAUTIFUL!!! We just got back and I already miss the blue water, starry nights, and beautiful red rock. We had so much fun especially Camden. He loves boating and going on the tube. It was really, really warm but the water felt great! Bren, Cam and I slept in the boat and it was the first time I have ever slept under the stars. I was awe struck at the beauty of the stars that blanketed you at night. Lake Powell brings such serenity and a sense of grandeur it is one of my favorite places to go. See ya next year Lake Powell!!

The newest Thorne in the Family

I am so excited to welcome a new Thorne to the Family!! Welcome Whitney Thorne!!Garon and Whitney got married on Friday and it was so Beautiful. They looked so happy and excited to finally have this day arrive and become husband and wife. It was such a special day to share with them and Bren and I are so excited for both of them. We love you Guys!!!!!! I am excited for Whitney because I too know what it is like to be married to a Thorne boy and it is the funnest thing ever! My Thorne man is amazing and I know his brother is too!I am excited also to have Whitney as a sister, she is so fun to be around. So Congrats again Garon and Whit, We look forward to hanging out with you newlyweds soon.

Fun In the Sun!!!

I forgot how much I love boating. We had so much fun swimming, tubing and wakeboarding with family and friends. We truly had fun in the sun. Thanks to my awesome in-laws for letting us take the boat!

We Love The Zoo

Bren and I took Cam to the zoo and we all loved it. Cam's favorite were the monkeys and the elephants. Funny that those were Bren's favorite too (they are so much alike it is scary!). My favorite was seeing the baby chimp-- it was so cute!! We were all worn out by the end of the day but it was worth seeing all those animals and my two animals having so much fun!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMDEN We are so excited to celebrate Cam's 2nd birthday. Time has gone so fast- it is crazy. Cam still brings us such joy even during his "terrible two's". He truly is an amazing little guy destined for amazing things!!! Easter fell around Cam's birthday this year so we had quite the celebrations this past weekend, from easter egg hunts to birthday cakes-- We had so much fun. Cam loves thomas trains so that was the theme this year for his birthday and he LOVED all the train decor! Well Happy Birthday Cam we love you so--- much!!

Okay I know this post might sound a little cheesy but just bear with me-- I have realized I fall victim to taking for grantide what I have- so today I wanted to write what I am most grateful for. Yesterday my brother-in-law got in engaged. Seeing the two of them smiling, happy, loving, beaming, together made me reminisce about when Bren and I met and when we got engaged. That was one of the best times in my life and I am still having the best time of my life with him. When I met Bren he took my breath away. Good Looking, ruggedly handsome manly-man, and yet he had a soft side one that captivated me and made me feel safe and cherished. He continues to take my breath away, and continues to captivate me with his courage, his love for: the gospel,Camden and me, family, friends, hobbies, and love for life. I still feel safe and cherished when I am with him even after 5 1/2 years of marriage! I am so in love with my husband and am so grateful for him-- for the man he is, the father he is and the companion he is. To be able to associate myself with such an amazing person every day is truly a blessing. I am grateful for the reminder yesterday from the newly engaged couple to Cherish our loved ones! By the way Congratulations again Garon and Whitney!!! We are so excited for both of you!!

Summer time Dreamin!

My family and I went to the boat show this week. It was so much fun but made me too excited for summertime. But instead of summer coming I am writing this blog while it is snowing. Aaaaaaa! Oh well it was still fun to dream of summer time at the boat show for 5 hrs!! If anyone is planning on going to the boat show I highly recommend sitting in the massage chairs they have displayed there. It is well worth it!!

I love this music feature. I first saw it on my sister's blog and was a real fan-- Anyone who knows my sister and me knows we love music. This took me forever to figure out how to get it on my blog hence there is only one song-- But I love this song it really puts in perspective what life is all about. Enjoy!
